Data Deletion Policy

Introduction
NutraForge Technologies Inc. (“NutraForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy and is committed to providing full control over your data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users and practitioners can request deletion, what data is removed, what limited information may be retained for legal or operational reasons, and how subscriptions are handled after deletion.

This policy applies to users of:
• The NutraForge mobile application (Consumer App)
• The NutraForge PRO web application (Practitioner App)

By requesting deletion, you acknowledge that certain data may need to be retained in compliance with legal, tax, and auditing obligations.

What Will Be Deleted
Personal Information
Your name, email address, organization membership, profile details, and any other personally identifiable information will be permanently deleted.

Health and Nutrition Data
All stored health, nutrition, and progress data (including meal logs, preferences, and insights) will be deleted or anonymized.

Account Connections and Access
Your login credentials and authentication data (Auth0) will be permanently removed, and your account will no longer be accessible.

Practitioner Accounts (NutraForge PRO)
• Organization data and linked clients will be deleted or transferred to another administrator before the practitioner’s account is closed.
• Client data created by the practitioner will be deleted unless the client maintains an independent account.

Client Accounts Managed by Practitioners
• When a practitioner deletes their account, client data remains available only to the client if they have their own account.
• When a client requests deletion, the practitioner immediately loses access to that client’s data.

What Will Be Retained
Certain information must be retained temporarily or permanently for operational and legal purposes:

Anonymized Data
De-identified analytics and usage data may be retained for research, reporting, and service improvements. This information cannot be used to identify any individual or organization.

Invoices and Transaction Records
Billing and payment data processed through Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play are retained as required by law but are no longer associated with your personal account.

Audit and Security Logs
Minimal technical and security records (such as timestamps or hashed identifiers) may be retained temporarily for fraud prevention, system security, and legal compliance.

Backups
Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being fully purged from our systems, including Google Cloud storage.

Important Considerations
Permanent Deletion
Once deletion is complete, the process is irreversible, and all personal data is permanently removed.

Loss of Access
You will lose access to all previously stored data, insights, and organizational access.

Organizational Ownership
If a practitioner who owns an organization deletes their account, ownership must be reassigned. If no new owner is designated, the organization may be deleted, and its data anonymized.

Subscription Handling
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that deleting an account also stops or cancels any active subscriptions. However, due to the way different billing systems operate, automatic cancellation cannot always be guaranteed.

Stripe (NutraForge PRO)
When a deletion request is processed, we attempt to automatically cancel associated Stripe subscriptions. If cancellation cannot be verified automatically, we will send a confirmation or follow-up notice to the account’s registered email to ensure the user can manually confirm or cancel any remaining subscriptions.

Apple App Store and Google Play (Mobile Subscriptions)
Mobile subscriptions are managed through Apple and Google systems. Deleting your NutraForge account does not always cancel these subscriptions automatically. Users are responsible for confirming or canceling their subscriptions directly via their Apple ID or Google Play account.

No Refunds
Deletion does not automatically trigger refunds. If you are billed prior to deletion, standard refund rules for Apple, Google, or Stripe apply.

Trial Accounts
Trial users are not charged following deletion.

Retention Obligations
Anonymized Data
Aggregated or anonymized records (such as meal data or performance metrics) may be retained for analytical purposes.

Financial and Legal Records
Invoices, tax documents, and required financial data will be stored securely to comply with law but will not be linked to any deleted personal account.

Deletion Process
To request deletion:

  1. Email your request to support@nutraforge.ca from the email associated with your account.

  2. Verify your identity through our confirmation process.

  3. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of verification unless retention is legally required.

You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
